My names is James Fairweather, and I am a technology leader. I am passionate about building products clients love. I love new ideas. I love shipping products. And I love all of the work that comes between idea and product. I love working in many disciplines, and synthesizing solutions. I've helped develop and lead electromechanical products, embedded software products, desktop software products and large, distributed computing applications. I've worked with D printing, pharmaceutical and biomedical devices and implants, office equipment and printing systems, distributed software systems for eCommerce, spatial and location intelligence software, cryptographic processing, and even on the construction of very large outdoor stainless steel sculpture. I work in the Global Innovation Organization at Pitney Bowes. I have a great job. Part of my team and I develop and deliver eCommerce and parcel management software technology for our business. I am fortunate to have great leadership in my eCommerce group, and a great team who leave it all on the field to create incredible solutions and value. I have another wonderful team focused on designing and building great user experiences across all of Pitney Bowes product offerings. We are doing doing some really progressive work on client-centric experience development, and building a Design System to help align our experience practice across all the product teams in the company. And lastly, I have leaders and teams working on our company wide platform strategies for SaaS, Big Data, API management, and mobility. We are a team at Pitney Bowes, focused on unlocking value, and delivering great client experiences. I am proud to be part of that team. I am an engineer, and I love what I do.
