I've worn many hats in my career legal assistant, campaign manager, chief of staff, and merchandising manager. This might lead one to ask what one has to do with the other. The main ingredient with all of these positions is PEOPLE. Whether working in retail, being a campaign manager, or legal assistant, I deal with people every day. In retail it was handling customer grievances, in the political arena I dealt with constituents and the dissatisfaction they faced within their district, and working in the law firm handling clients in their worst time of need. I have an ability to make the customer feel at ease in bad situations and the capacity to listen and gain an understanding into what their needs are and how to come up with solutions that are beneficial to the customer as well as the company.
