Carol has provided consulting services to Home Health and Hospice agencies across the country as well as conducting site visits for the Community Health Accreditation Program for the past years. She developed a solid toolbox of strategies in her experience as regional administrator of multiple-site home health and hospice agencies in Virginia for years prior to that. Carol became a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse in . She has worked at large and small agencies, for-profit and not-for-profit agencies, and successful and struggling agencies. She has been a Case Manager, Team Manager, Clinical Information Specialist, Director of Nursing, Director of Hospice and Administrator of multi-site hospice agencies. She assisted in implementing point of care andor back-office software in separate hospices. She has also developed a Palliative Care Program using Home Health provider partners. Carol has also contributed to the Conditions of Participation for hospice while serving the Virginia Association for Hospices as an elected board member.
