I#m Kathy, proudly -something, and very excited about the prospect of fostering I grew up in what my friends often refer to as a quotLeave it to Beaverquot home in fact, when my husband Lee amp I were completing the application paperwork for the fostering process, one question asked for our worst childhood memory, and I honestly couldn#t think of one. Lee suggested quotthat time your hair got caught in the swing.quot That was traumatic only because my mother laughed and ran for the camera before she worked and eventually cut my ponytails out, but if that#s my worst memory, then I#ve been blessed. Indeed, that#s one word to describe my life Blessed. Here are some others. Busy. Fulfilled. Army brat and Air Force #retired.# Linguist and word lover. Teacher amp learner. Collector of yarns, shoes, dictionaries, amp stationery. Lover of books--and did I already say words So thankful to be living near my parents amp brother again after so many years away. Amazed by the wonderful girlfriends the Lord has placed in my life over the years--so many faithful, funny women. And most of all, honored amp happy to be married to my Hobbit for Life, Lee Dray. Hopefully, he#ll share more of his story here, too.
