Sam S. Rainer III serves as president of Rainer Research (rainerresearch.com), a firm dedicated to providing answers for better church health. He also serves as senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Murray, KY. Sam is the co-author of the book, Essential Church. He is a theological review editor at CrossBooks, a regular contributor to Church Executive magazine, and he has written dozens of articles for several publications.
