Melanie Asp Alvarez is an award-winning broadcast news and documentary producer with ten years of local newsroom experience in Los Angeles, Colorado, Florida and Arizona. Melanie created and instructs a special topics course dedicated to training the next generation of broadcast news producers at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
