James is a shareholder of the The Henry Group, a Troy based CPA firm that provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to a cross section of individuals and small to medium size enterprises. Striving to provide clients with a financial peace of mind through quality financial and tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and development of sound internal financial practices. James specializes in providing tax, accounting and advisory services to closely held businesses and individuals, he has leveraged the use of technology and cloud computing to stay competitive and relevant to the changing business environment. Prior to joining the Henry Group, James ran his own firm and was a principal with another local CPA firm where he was responsible for the firms IT and AA areas. He brings over years of public accounting experience in the areas of manufacturing, medical, professional service companies and real estate. Jamie is graduate of Walsh College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). He is a past chair of the MACAP Small Firm Practitioners Task Force and holds leadership roles in various local and neighborhood organizations.
