www.bulletprooflifestyle.com I'm a 43 year old cement finisher that was raised in a Christian houshold. Found alcohol and drugs in my youth and thought I had it all figured out. Until one day I got a phone call and found out that I had a daughter, and had already missed the first 15 years of her life. (The mother had told me 15 years ago "She's your kid, Scott" But I wouldn't listen!) I was ashamed and felt like a worthless person for not being part of Megan's (My Daughter) life. At the time I found out....I was married. My wife Jennifer was super supportive and we started to try to be a part of Megan's life together. Life was getting better, but I still was not "Lilly White" and ended up having a cocaine overdose.......RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEGAN! This was SUPER embarrasing as well as just plan BAD! Once again it took me awhile to start feeling normal again. But eventully things were looking better and I gave up a great job to start my own business. That venture failed in 2008 and left me in bankruptcy with no job and feeling worthless. Soon thought's of suicide started filling my day's and I had to do something! I was already attending Church and working out, so what I ended up doing was writing. In the begining my writings were just for me, but soon I realized, I have a story. The begining of my book "Bulletproof~The Lifestyle†is my journey through, and out of, the mental pain I was in. Through my own writings I learned a lot about myself, and what I was doing wrong. After this part of the story, I go into the party lifestyle I was leading and why I was doing it. This book is NOT meant to tell anyone how to live. Rather it is meant to be entertaining and at the same time make you think about the most important person in your life.......YOU! At the end of each chapter is a place for the reader to comment on my writings or just give their own thoughts. You write right in the book itself. THIS MAKE ME AND YOU CO-AUTHORS!
