I'm currently involved with the [very exciting] design and implementation of VMware's internally-deployed VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) - called View. With a small team of two we can literally support 3000 users and their VMs. VMware View allows the enterprise to shift desktop computing away from physical laptop and desktop devices into the datacenter (centralizing processing, administration, and data storage). Through the use of Virtual Machines and Linked Clone technology VMware View drastically reduces the administration and storage costs usually associated with desktop provisioning. The Cracker Lady was born and raised in Northern Nevada, but has lived in California for over thirty years. So what is a Cracker you ask? It is a "white person" to black people. I have been called the Cracker Lady many a time, but take no offense. You see I have lived in predominately black neighborhoods for a long time and the truth is that I am white. Most of my ministry has been conducted from my house, and so I think it appropriate to name this blog, The Cracker Lady's House. I am currently the full time caregiver to my disabled daughter, Shannon. In November I retired from my career as a Property Manager, which I have worked at since 1980. In those same thirty years, I have ministered in the inner city. I became a born again believer on February 4, 1972. Shortly after my salvation, I began to have dreams of people praying through in the gutters of Marysville, CA. Over the years, the Lord has place me in the intercities of Seaside, Oakland, and Richmond, California. The Lord is still saving people on the streets, on drugs, and prostitutes. Since the Lord has chosen to use me in these kind of ministries, I call myself a Gutter Warrior for Christ. E-Mail [email protected]
