I'm currently living as a journalist-in-residence with the Winnemem Wintu tribe outside Redding, California, where I'm working on a book (tentatively titled Salmon, Come Home - Nur Tipa Bos) about the Winnemem's spiritually guided salmon restoration plan and their advocacy for water conservation. My work has been published in the Christian Science Monitor, California Watch, the Oregonian, the High Desert Journal, the GlobalPost, the High Country News and Free Speech Radio News among other outlets.
