James Vecchio possesses nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial executive business experience. Jim currently spearheads the Business Development efforts at EpiAnalytics, Inc., an on-demand software company focused on Connecting Customer Analytics with Business Process to improve operational efficiencies. Prior to EpiAnalytics Mr. Vecchio was VP of Sales & Marketing at Island Data. While at Island Data, he built sales and marketing teams responsible for closing marquee Enterprise Accounts, doubling Account Revenues for a 5 years period, while maintaining a 90% software subscription renewal rate. Jim began his business career in the corporate legal department at Ford Motor Company and later moved into private legal practice before serving in the position of General Counsel for SITEL Corporation (NYSE: “SWWâ€). While at SITEL, a leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services related to customer care, he led the company through a successful IPO which helped grow the company’s global footprint through acquisition and internal expansion. Mr. Vecchio an expert at building and maintaining complex software and service relationships and has created long-term value for enterprise companies including Philips, Allstate, AT&T, Microsoft, JCPenney, Yahoo, Wal-Mart, Canon, Adobe, Costco, Liberty Media, General Motors, and HP. Jim received his JD, Cum Laude, from Michigan State University - College of Law, and a B.A. in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and the State Bar of Nebraska. Mr. Vecchio is a member of the Direct Marketing Association, the San Diego Software Industry Council (SDSIC) - Software as a Service Business Interest Group (Steering Committee), the SDSIC - Customer Satisfaction Business Industry Group (Steering Committee), the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce - Technology Committee Member, and the San Diego Business Advisory Board at the UCSD Rady School of Business.
