2x Cervical Cancer while carrying two babies Survivor story In 1996 I was a married mother of 3 girls Licia, MaDonna & ShaY, diagnosis with Cervical Cancerwhile in my 20's. The doctors recommended a conebiopsy. Told by ten doctors that I would die in thirtydays and I had a 95% chance that the Cancer would return. I got a second opinion. Shortly after I becamepregnant with my 4th child, my son DJ. Cancer unseen again we are blessed to make it through the pregnancywith a healthy baby. To my surprise after arranging a date for surgery and told not to use birth control I becamepregnant again with Ebi. Scared I would die because of my faith and the Cancer undetected I could not kill mylast baby. Closely monitored with a very painful and high risk pregnancy. God (my daddy) is and always will beawesome that is why I was able to carry Ebi and the cancer through the pregnancy. New Years Day January 1, 1999 Ebi was born healthy.    Only God knows the pain I felt after. It would not stop. I couldn't sit, stand or walk without horrible pain. To make love with my husband would cause me to scream and cry in pain. My husband felt it first not the doctors.Being miss diagnosis did not help at all. Rushed from work (in CT) to the hospital (in NYC) because the doctor I worked for spotted it in a Sonogram. The doctors said I made it just in time-Cervical Cancer extended to the pelvic area laying on my bone would have killed me if I waited one more day. With intense Chemo & Radiation treatments, unable to walk in a wheelchair, druged up for the pain and unable to take care of myself God, my husband, my mom and family took care of me. Now known as the Cancer that can be sexually transmitted and prevented through the HPV Vaccine. First thing that comes to your mind is "awe, then oh did she get it from having sex?"     In my hospital bed I asked a family member to bring me my bible while confused and highly medicated for severe pain. I did know that my Daddy (GOD) could make it all right . I promised him that I would change my life and go back to church and never fall away again.    My Daddy has saved me so many times. The side effects from the chemo & Radiation is my challenge now. They don't talk about it because it is different for everyone. I have been suffering from pain and new health issues because of the Cancer but I thank GOD I am still hear. Now promoting Cancer & HIV/AIDS Awareness through TV, Radio, in schools, churches and online to save live in your Community today because tomorrow may be too late. Blessings to all.  Travis Â
