Tracey Jackson is a professional screenwriter, TV writer and producer and playwright. She has written twelve TV pilots and was under contract to SONY TV for four years from 1991- 1994. She created and produced the pilot for the FOX series BABES that ran for one season in 1991-1992. She has written films for almost every major studio and many producers She generates her own material through original ideas and adapts books and rewrites others. Her specialty is romantic comedy. Though with her new documentary film LUCKY DUCKS she has crossed into the world of reality and drama. She has had three films produced and released by major studios. She wrote the THE GURU for Working Tittle Films that was released by Universal Films. She adapted CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC for Jerry Bruckheimer that was released by DISNEY earlier this year. And she wrote THE OTHER END OF THE LINE for MGM based off her own idea, that came out in October of 2008. She also did extensive work on the upcoming SONY film the UGLY TRUTH. Including that and her documentary LUCKY DUCKS Tracey has had four films completed and three released in the last twelve months. Specialties Tracey has the distinction of being one of he few American comedy writers who has been involved in Indian themed films for over a decade. She has written three features that take place in India or are about Indian characters who migrate here.
