As application architectures become increasingly modular, infrastructure increasingly virtualized, and user experience delivered across the Internet there's a need for a different approach to application performance management. I spent 5 years deep in the infrastructure world with EMC, spent 2 years in the functional world of Oracle Applications, and have recently taken a role with Compuware as I've come to believe performance management from an application perspective is where the puck is headed. I've a technical background and very much enjoy working with my customers in assessing their environment and taking logical steps to gain control of what's delivered to their customers.
