Tim Doyle

Bio: Tim Doyle is vice-president, content of CanWest Interactive and editor-in-chief of the canada.com network. He spent more than 20 years as a reporter and editor at Ontario daily newspapers, including The Whig-Standard in Kingston and The Hamilton Spectator, before moving online in 1999 as executive producer of hockey Web site Faceoff.com. Two years later he became editor-in-chief of canada.com and played a leading role in building the property into the number one news and information site used by Canadians. Doyle heads a team of editors and producers responsible for the content and production of CanWest MediaWorks\' electronic newspapers and Web sites, the canada.com portal, globaltv.com and chtv.ca and the business-to-business site, FPinfomart.ca. Doyle is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Sheridan College and is a member of journalism and new media advisory boards at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario and Humber College in Toronto.
