As I think about my life and all that has happened I come back to one thought, "God wouldn't all this happen unless He had a specific plan."  I've spent countless hours doing "prep work" for what I finally see is my place in this world.  FamilyMy lovely wife Michelle and I have 3 great kids: Gunnar, Conrad and Bennett.  We had a desire to have children quickly and close together, we were "successful" and now we have the joy of 3 kids in 3 years.  High stress but also high reward.WorkSince January 2009 I have been working with Ryan Lahner, owner of Lahner Electric, out of Clear Lake, IA.  I have been in and out of electrical contracting for 14 years and it is really nice to work with someone that is dedicated to quality and hard-working.  We do a little of everything: residential, commercial, audio/video, security and anything else that may come up.ChurchThe newest and most exciting change in my life is being part of the brand new church in Mason City, IA called Rhythm Church.  I have been playing guitar and leading worship since high school and after many years at Cornerstone Church in Ames, God brought us to Mason City to be the Music and Arts Director.  Long term, I hope that this will become my primary occupation, but for now I will continue to be bi-vocational until God brings the necessary element in the church.read more ...read less ...
