Hi, I'm Shanna Beavers.  My husband, Randy Beavers and I have our daughter, Lilly Beavers.  Having a Baby Beavers was a dream of ours for at least six years before we were finally blessed with Lilly. I am in my early 30's and I’ve spent 13 years in the restaurant industry.  I have no formal training in cooking, but I’ve done it all.  I’ve been a hostess, server, bartender, manager, cook, cashier, food runner, trainer and most recently an owner.  Man, what a ride!  I LOVE restaurants!  I love the chaos of it all mostly.  I know, that seems weird, but I do my best in high pressure situations, and restaurants hemorrhage high pressure, chaotic situations.  I’ve always loved food, I choose to live a life of food.  But, one day, after the devastating loss of my own restaurant (thanks to the failing economy), I discovered I was pregnant!  We were down to one income and really struggling.  Like most of us I was forced to find ways to survive on an very small budget.I guess you could say I am staying true to my life of food.  Now I teach people how to save money on food!  While I may not be done with restaurants in the grand scheme, I’ve ending that chapter.  Food and Restaurants are in my blood.  I will always come back around to them.  But, this is the direction I’m going now.  Let’s see where it takes me! read more ...
