Sarah is a freelance writer and editor living in beautiful Boulder, Colo., whose work has appeared in local, regional, trade and national magazines. She has written for O, The Oprah Magazine (look for her byline in the January issue), Prevention, , Colorado Vacation Guide, Health, Home, WWD, Transitions Abroad, New York Magazine's Daily Intel, New York Resident, ClubIndustry, and SpaRetailer, among others. Sarah is also the lead copy editor for the Clyfford Still Museum's (Denver) award-winning "Words on Paper" newsletter. In while living in New York City and working at Cond Nast, she launched NewNYers.com, now the definitive blog for young newcomers to NYC. Her two related books, "Two Years in New York City" and "The Guide for New New Yorkers," are available at the Kindle store or SarahHowlett.com. After studying abroad in near London and backpacking Europe, Sarah graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism in and began work as a copy editor at the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (see below recommendation).
