Robert Moss is a novelist, poet and independent scholar and the creator of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of dreamwork and shamanism. Born in Australia, he survived three early near-death experiences and found himself challenged to live consciously in more than one world. In midlife, on a farm in the Hudson Valley of New York, his visionary encounters with an ancient Mohawk woman shaman led him to follow a path for which there is no career track in our culture, that of a dream teacher. He leads creative and shamanic adventures all over the world, from the Bucegi mountains of Romania to a mountain of garnet fire in the New York Adirondacks, including a three-year training for teachers of Active Dreaming. His many nonfiction books include Conscious Dreaming, Dreamways of the Iroquois, The Three “Only” Things, The Secret History of Dreaming, Dreamgates, Active Dreaming and Dreaming the Soul Back Home. His novels include the three volumes in the Cycle of the Iroquois – Fire Along the Sky, The Firekeeper and The Interpreter. He has also published a collection of poems, Here, Everything Is Dreaming. His latest book, "The Boy Who Died and Came Back: Adventures of a Dream Archaeologist in the Multiverse" (published in March 2014) is a narrative of a whole life of lucid dreaming and travel between the worlds. One of his rules for living consciously in the multiverse: “The time is always Now.”Recently Added
