Rob has been working with children and families since 2003, helping them to solve problems by utilizing their strengths and supports. His goal is to quickly assess problems and difficulties, and work to collaboratively chart a course for restoration. Since beginning his career in 2003, Rob has held several positions ranging from In-Home Family Therapist to Clinical Director of a CABHA agency. Rob has a Master’s degree in Education in Counseling and Development and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina. In working with people, his typical areas of focus include: marriage and family, child mental health, grief and loss, Christian/spiritual issues, depression, anxiety, and crisis counseling. To address these issues and insure a positive outcome, Rob utilizes motivational interviewing as well as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches, integrated with a deep sense of grace and unconditional positive regard. Rob hopes that individuals, couples, and families will see the face of Jesus in the healing process of counseling.
