  • Bob is the President of R L Gaffney Associates, a management consulting firm. Bob is also a Senior Associate with Metaplexity Associates LLC (metaplexity.com), a enterprise architecture consulting firm. He serves as Board Chair for Dunrovin Christian Brothers Retreat Center (dunrovin.org) and as a board member for IGI (igi.com). Prior to these endeavors, Bob taught Information Technology and Decision Sciences at the graduate and undergraduate levels for the University of St. Thomas. He also served as Director of AACSB Accreditation. Prior to joining the University of St. Thomas, Bob held executive information technology management positions at General Mills. Prior to joining General Mills, Bob served in the US Air Force. In 2002 he retired as a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve. In this capacity, Bob consulted on weapon system procurement and logistics. During his active duty career, he was one of the initial cadre of Air Force officers assigned to the Space Shuttle program and a member of the RAND Corporation ("think tank").
