From a farming back ground, Rob grew up in Shropshire, UK. The family farm grew and supplied soft fruit nationally to M&S, TESCO's and WAITROSE. Early 1990's, Rob set up a Farm Shop and Garden Centre called Green Fields, this business is still thriving today as 'the home of great local food' in the Telford, Shropshire, UK.Rob now helps food producers and retailers in developing their businesses. Jan 2008, Rob was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship, sponsored by HSBC Bank Plc, during 2008 and 2009 Rob traveled the World in search of new ideas for food producers and retailers. He now has set-up Food Marketing Network which is a unique resource for food and farming businesses to learn and develop their businesses.
