I'm a Systems Architect, with over 3 decades of successful experience. I began in the semiconductor industry in New Product Definition, and continued work as an Applications Engineer, Business Executive and Marketing Professional in Technology. For 15 years I've been a serial entrepreneur. Background: My career began as architect for systems-on-a-chip including the TMS9909 Floppy Disk Controller and the Harris / Intel CMOS (low-power) versions of the 8048 and 8086 microprocessor families - which led to today's PC's. Negotiating trade-off factors between circuit design groups, potential users internal to the corporation and with external OEM's, and suggesting innovative solutions to conflicting 'needs' - was my stock in trade. The TMS9909 FDC was an evolutionary step toward modern DSP's, and was in production for over 8 years. I was honored to work with Dr Frank Wanlass, holder of the original patent on CMOS and many other inventions, as Director of Marketing and Sales at Zytrex, then a NASDAQ startup. That is glimpse at a few of the highlights of my career. Along the way my skill sets have grown. Since the 90's, I've been a pro at graphic design and media for the net, print, and video for distribution. I've kept plugged in to the leading edge of technology, in marketing called "the cutting edge", often "the bleeding edge" - my entire career. --- My new operation is TechBreeder - Facilitating Business Synthesis. Complementary to ExtraSourcing, TechBreeder networks with high-level professionals - building on earlier work and incorporating face-to-face meetings with technologists and key service professionals in Central Texas, growing my global network, or "sphere of influence".
