Richard A. Moran has served on our board of directors since May 2002. He has served as a Partner of Venrock Associates since January 2007. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Portal Software, Inc. from February 2003 until Portal was sold to Oracle Corporation in July 2006. Also, since January 2002, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Moran Manor and Vineyards LLC. From April 1996 to May 2002, Mr. Moran served as a Partner at Accenture Inc. (formerly Anderson Consulting LLP), focusing on media and entertainment. He also serves on the boards of directors of Sutura, Inc. and the National Association of Corporate Directors, Northern California Chapter. Mr. Moran is the author of several books on business and management. Mr. Moran holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers College, an M.A. in personnel administration from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior/higher education from Miami University (Ohio). read more ...
