Not quite sure what to put here. I love photography. So much that I have an aperture tattooed over my heart. I shoot a Nikon D50 with 28-80, 70-300, and 50 /1.8. I borrowed a 10.5 fisheye for a few of my shots. In September of 2009, I bought a Nikon D300s and absolutely fell in love with it. It's almost like falling in love with photography all over again. A month later I picked up the Nikkor 18-200 VR II. I do the majority of my shooting with one of my best friends, Katie. She is my chi. The cheese to my macaroni. Without her, my photos seem uninspired and out of focus. And they're definitely not as fun to shoot. We normally just drive around southeast Alabama until we find a town or something that looks cool. Abandoned structures are our specialty. When my hard drive crashed in the summer of 2007, I lost about 3,000 photos. Facebook saved some, but the originals are gone. I've since since pulled the trigger 12,642 times (and counting) and gotten something worth while. I used to refuse to modify my pictures beyond point of capture (f/, iso and shutterspeed) but recently Katie has turned me on to delicate photoshopping. I rarely upload the original file. I normally size them down for Facebook, where you can find the majority of my work. The rest is just details.
