I love learning, teaching, technology and utilizing the power of computers to change the world. I have been lucky to have had some great opportunities with academia, small companies and large corporations over the past few years, and I'm excited to see what comes next. My professional goals are to connect operations research (OR) to the real world in meaningful ways. Whether that's brainstorming new ways to explain complex ideas, or spending time researching new ways of applying OR. My personal goals include learning as much as I can about the human experience in as many places around the globe as my budget and time allow. That includes staying connected via travel, reading (both electronic and paper media), and exploring the local area and culture wherever I am including my favorites: food and music.
