I'm a motivated and conscientious graduate accounting student getting ready to launch my tax career. I've developed some great skills during multiple contract assignments through Accountemps. I learned how to effectively organize and analyze complex quantitative data with Microsoft Excel and apply tax concepts learned in school to real-world compliance. I learned how to coax public officials into complying with public records requests when they would rather be doing something else. Most of all, I learned to rely on my own ingenuity and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles blocking my projects' successes, both individually and when leading (or working on) a team. I also learned how to meet my obligations and even exceed expectations while juggling work, a full-time school schedule, extracurricular activities, studying for the CPA exam, pursuing hobbies and spending quality time with family and friends. I learned that I'm more capable and productive than I ever thought possible. And I learned that staying busy with all of these fulfilling activities is more rewarding than any amount of unstructured leisure. I'm excited to become a tax professional and earn my CPA license. I already passed FAR and plan to take all three remaining sections of the CPA Exam by February . I'm looking forward to finding the right firm to launch my career.
