When asked why I chose advertising and what excites me about my career path, my answer is risk. Every advertisement created takes a risk that its target’s eyes will never see it. Every advertisement takes a risk that it will push the envelope to far or, maybe worse, not far enough. Every idea takes a risk that it may never become more than just an initial brainstorm jotted down on a piece of scrap paper. Without risk, an advertisement can never reach its full potential. Every great advertisement is supported by an account person willing to take a risk. I want to take that risk to build strong brands, create long lasting relationships and create the best work in advertising that I can.
