Mike Lesczinski is a story teller. Currently the public relations manager for Excelsior College, Mike uses earned and owned media to share the institutions unique story with the world. Beyond the ability to generate headlines, Mike uses a variety of multimedia channels to reach Excelsiors target audiences. In , he advocated for and help launched Excelsior Life, an online newsroom built to showcase the vibrancy of the colleges academic and campus life. As lead editor, Mike ensures the production of a diverse stream of content, from spotlights on graduates and the exploration of faculty research to in-depth features aimed to jump-start conversation on key national issues. In April , Mike spearheaded the launch of Excelsior Life Distance EDU on Demand, a weekly academic podcast series featuring Excelsior College newsmakers and faculty. He continues to act as the shows host and lead producer. Prior to Excelsior, Mike honed his craft at a PR agency specializing in high tech. Charged with managing day-to-day operations, strategy, social media and high-level media outreach for each of the firms retainer technology brands, Mike secured feature stories in the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Barrons, Chicago Tribune, Yahoo, Popular Science and WIRED, among a host of other high-tier outlets, earning an award for the best National PR Campaign For-Profit as bestowed by the Capital Region Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Mike graduated with honors from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs with a masters degree in public administration. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. Mike currently serves as president of PRSA NY-Capital Region. An avid Buffalo Bills Fan, Mike lives just outside Albany, New York with his wife, daughter, and pup, a -year old rescue named Jack Bow-wower.
