Since building the first sustainability program among large design firms in Chicago, I have been sought after as a green building expert. I had the vision to charter a chapter of the nascent U.S. Green Building Council, and orchestrated the founding of one of the first chapters. I went on to direct other green building programs, and earned a reputation as an outstanding educator and dynamic speaker. I have a gift for recognizing talent and mentored individuals who have become leaders in their own right. My accomplishments have been recognized with the first USGBC Illinois Chapter Leader Award, induction into the inaugural class of LEED Fellows, and appointment as Chair of the USGBC Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group.
