Michelle Beilsmith Robertson has driven the communications efforts for some of the premier online advertising, marketing, commerce and measurement companies, including Amazon.com, Ace Metrix, comScore, Dynamic Logic, FreshDirect, IAG Research, iVillage, Millward Brown, Valueclick, 24/7 Real Media, as well as other international entities including the London Stock Exchange, UK Trade and Investment (the British Government’s economic development agency) and numerous technology companies. Robertson began her own PR and marketing consultancy in 2005 after five years with MWW Group (mwwpr.com), where she last served as senior vice president and general manager of the company’s New York City office and sat on MWW’s executive committee. Her expertise includes building and executing strategic PR and marketing campaigns; ensuring prominent and appropriate participation in online and in-person dialog about one’s industry; building meaningful, strategic relationships with reporters and other influencers; and developing jargon-free messaging and branding that is informed by one's strengths and competitive landscape. Prior to joining MWW, Robertson ran public relations for Media Metrix, Inc. (now comScore) and played a key role in developing and executing the communications strategy used in establishing the Company as the leader in Internet audience measurement. She managed public relations initiatives at the time of the Company’s $60 million IPO and $151 million follow-on offering, as well as multiple mergers and acquisitions, including communication to press, investors and employees. Robertson joined Media Metrix when it acquired RelevantKnowledge, a company she played a critical role in putting on the map via aggressive media relations. Prior to this, Robertson worked in corporate marketing for Turner Broadcasting, Inc. in Atlanta, where she worked with many of Turner’s media entities.
