I'm tough to describe... going through a sort of life metomorphosis right now. I was born in Iowa, but NYC has been my home for the past 8 years. I have found a wonderful woman with which to share my life. We've been married now for just over one year. Together, we have found an amazing dog to share some great years. We both live comfortably in the greatest city in the world, yet push ourselves and each other to always work for the next level. Many times, that is harder than it sounds. I deeply value those that I consider my friends (not a large group), and will do anything for them. I have an intense thirst for knowledge of all kinds - I recently read a book about a snake-handling religion in the Appalachian mountains... fascinating. And I also read about a book about the "secret world of sororities"... stupid. I find reading about random things a wonderful way to procrastinate. I really enjoy baseball - I wish I was better at playing it. I'm currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Directing & Contemporary Musical Theatre at NYU... not sure what the hell it's going to do for me - but at least I'll have it? At the same time, I'm working with some friends to start a business in IA, a theatre company in NY, and a production company that would work around the US. Maybe I should prioritize? read more ...
