I have recently realized that I'm a hypocrite. Maybe not in the sense that I can't practice what I preach, because I seem to do that with reasonable consistency. But I have somehow inadvertently turned my entire life into a big hypocrisy. For example...I am, for lack of a better word, a "lazy bastard." In an effort to satisfy my "lazy bastardness," I entered the affiliate marketing business and have done relatively well for myself...well in the eyes of some at least. But succes or no sucess, I failed to satisfy my inherent laziness and have created a situation that prevents me from being lazy...EVER. While I can't deny that there's some degree of "good" that came out of this, it still doesn't change the hypocritical element of the situation. But wait, there's more... Hypocrisy : I'm a thinker and anyone that knows me also knows that I'm not a shallow person. However, I'm also one of those people that like to enjoy the better things in life. Sometimes I think that my seemingly unattainable ambitions only exist to serve my expensive living standards. And while I have spent quite a bit of money in an effort to meet that standard, those standards have yet to be met... I have a high-end performance car (bling bling or whatever you want to call it...) that sits motionless in my garage, a 62 inch TV that I rarely use, designer clothing that I never wear, and I renting an entire house...of which 2 rooms I'm ever really in. So as you can see, while I'm certainly equipped to enjoy at least SOME the better things in life, I haven't actually gotten around to enjoying any of those things at all. So as it appears, my diligent effort to satisfy both my "laziness" and my "high living standards" resulted in the opposite effect. I now spend all my time working (which contradicts my lazy bastard-om) and consequently, I don't have time to enjoy my life, which contradicts my high living standards. So yeah...a hypocrite I am indeed
