"Making it My Business to Assist You with Yours"As a Virtual Assistant and Founder of Here2Assist, LLC., I step in to help busy entrepreneurs dig out from under the administrative burden so they are better able to maintain balance and grow their businesses. More information can be found at my website: www.here2assist.com My background: I have over 25 years of experience as an administrative professional. My titles ranged from receptionist, administrative assistant, administrative manager, marketing coordinator and executive assistant working for the government, telecommunications, entertainment and non-profit industries. I decided to go into business for myself so that I could truly serve my clients and see results.  A Virtual Assistant is a business owner and knows the same challenges that you may be facing in your small business with online/offline marketing, invoicing, website maintenance, social media marketing, database management and all that it takes to run a business.  My creative and analytical skill sets were not being utilized when working for others under a generic job description.  I like to see that my efforts are making a difference and be involved in positive outcomes.  To do that, I launched Here2Assist so I could actually partner with my clients and set my own standards. While my administrative experience is extensive, I didn't jump right in to a Virtual Assistance business blindly.  I researched the industry, the need, available certifications and training.  I signed on with AssistU, who's founder Stacy Brice actually formalized the Virtual Assistant Industry. That began a five-month intensive journey that took me from administrative assistant to business owner.  I'm very proud of my affiliation with AssistU, as their standards are very high.  Only 50% of those who apply for the Virtual Training Program are accepted, many quit or are let go during the 20-weeks of training and field work, and others make it all the way to the end only to fail the brutal final exam. The exam requires an 80% or better to pass and the training is considered to be at a masters level curriculum.  As both the AssistU Community Guide and Rocky Mountain Chapter host I am extremely active in this community of quality Virtual Assistants, and this provides me with a vast network of resources which is also a benefit to my clients. I wanted my clients to know that they are getting an intelligent, quality, committed Virtual Assistant when they partner with me and my AssistU graduate credentials show exactly that.___________________________________________ Are you an administrative professional that is ready to step into your own business and make a valuable difference for your clients?
