Matt grew up in the South End neighborhood of Montclair, NJ. Surrounded by a few friends, mostly the result of proximity, he whiled away his youthful days dressing funny and staring into peoples eyes until they grew uncomfortable and looked away. Matt vowed to become powerful enough to return one day and crush his classmates and enemies for perceived injustices. After being rejected from several Ivy League schools, Matt attended Vassar College, where his quest for vengeance was side tracked by a year of awkwardness and three years of self discovery and experimentation. Early in his Vassar career, Matt acquired his nickname (Mad), through an incredibly uninteresting sequence of events. The true turning point in Matt?s life came when Matt was attending a class in Computer Networking. Half way through a tedious lecture, he leaned over to his friend and said ?Boooooring?. However, the classroom had much better acoustics than Matt had anticipated and the entire class, including the Professor, heard his comment. And Laughed. ?They think I?m funny,? Matt thought, and a star was born. He became quite the class clown, always willing to make an ass of himself for a laugh. His friends began to consider him ?the funny one.? Matt?s first foray into the entertainment industry came when he and a college friend joined forces to host a new music show on the Vassar College radio station, WVKR. The show, which ran from 1997-99, was called ?We?re Evil? and was mildly successful in impressing girls Matt was interested in. Still too much of a coward to attempt any performances in public, Matt graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science (he was not awarded the honors he felt he deserved, so more people were added to his list of those who he felt wronged him). Matt took a job at Time Warner, where he worked contently until they merged with AOL and were run into the ground.read more ...read less ...
