Some girls drink beer out of wine glasses, I drink wine out of beer glasses...pint glasses to be specific. I am a geek or a nerd, and have no idea what the differences between the two are nor do I care.  I like video games, board games, sci-fi, cartoons, theatre, and celebrate awkward people. However, I still love my Bengals no matter how awful they are, camping, bar hopping, and concerts.  I love all music.  I am capable of differentiating between good music and bad music and still listening to it regardless I'm a great problem solver, I can usually provide a different perspective and play devils advocate with just about anything.  I can read a Haynes manual and apply the knowledge.  For that matter, I'm a girl who knows what a Haynes manual is...I can maneuver my way around the inside of a computer.  These are not hobbies of mine; just things I feel define me in a strange way.  I know when to play nice and when to roll in the mud, and if given a choice will always choose to roll in the mud while wearing dress clothes for good measure.  I was once a great actress but I haven't been on stage in 3 years.  I am intuitive, but maybe not always so good at having faith in what my intuition is telling me.  Also, I'm pretty awesome at napping... I find people fascinating, the way I see it, worst-case scenario when trying something new; if I hate it I'll just people watch to stay entertained.  A part of being a people watcher is being over analytical...I over think everything all the time (including this box) I am however, not a judgmental person by nature, I just want to know what makes you tick.  I put a lot of stock in being a good person, and trying to do good things.  I believe it's not always your actions that define you, but your reactions.  We are all imperfect and make mistakes, how we deal with them says more about us than whatever we did. The following are my favorite personal descriptions given to me by friends: "a 50s housewife, with a 60s weed stash, and a 70s libido" "merciful in your private life yet blunt force trauma honest." "spontaneous effervescence" Two of those are from the same person…hmm…well I guess when it comes to my friends these days I tend to side with the following quotation "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." Which is somewhat sad, as when reciprocated properly, I am a great friend, and a great lover.  However, life is full of lessons.  Most recently, I’ve learned that when a selfless person and a selfish person enter a relationship, neither the selfish person nor the selfless person becomes less so.  All that happens is the selfish person drains the selfless person until they are a human husk with nothing left to give.  I have opinions of what happens to the selfish person as well, but would hate to misrepresent the end results of this social experiment if they are untrue.  All is not lost though, it’s just a matter of refilling the husk with all the things that once made it wonderful, but now one has the option of leaving out the less desirable traits of the past i.e. passive aggressiveness, lending money one does not have to lose, using tequila as a means to a fruitful end beyond messy sex.  The only downside is that it takes a long time to fill a human; I’d say I’m at about hip level now.  While I do appreciate the ability to walk, run, skip, dance, and play again, I am admittedly most looking forward to being completely filled so that I might think clearly.
