I'm a vfx artist with a huge amount of passion and drive. I've been in the art industry since roughly . In , after working in the film and television universe, I made a move to video games. This was a scary new challenge, and the excitement of getting involved in the industry that first made me fall in love with art was too much to pass up. I have been playing and making games for most of my life. The challenge of making vfx look just as good as film but render in real time was very exciting to me. It still is - even if it's only very recently that the games world is approaching the quality of film. Along with an artistic background, I have a strong technical know-how which enables me to easily communicate with programmers and artists alike. Because of this, I've helped create several tools at various companies to facilitate the creation of vfx and cinematics. My experience in film has helped me tremendously in the toolspipeline-making domain. I've learned many new things since I started - technically and artistically. I hope to retire making and directing vfx in film andor video games (or both if the current trend keeps up). I can only imagine what the future of technology has in store for us. My ultimate dream is simple. I want a project I work on to be officially recognized for it's high visual quality.
