I'm a product manager at BiblioCommons delivers a SaaS solution to public libraries that replaces their traditional online catalog, with a vibrant space for discovery and connection around the books, movies, music and information that are at the heart of the librarys collections. The products I work on focus on studentsschools and their relationships with public libraries. Things I did before I joined BiblioCommons include - Serving as the Director of Education Programs at TakingITGlobal, an innovative non-profit organization in Toronto where Emily Kornblut I launched and managed TIGed.org--which was honoured with a Tech Museum Award for education. - A stint as marketing manager at Career Cruising, a company that makes online career guidance tools. - Along with the rest of the gang at Atmosphere Industries, co-designed Gentrification The Game, an award-winning Big Game that has been presented in New York, Toronto, London and Berlin. - Co-authored some cool (and diverse) stuff, mostly with Kate Raynes-Goldie , including a chapter in the MacArthur Foundations series of books on digital media and learning on the topic of online civic engagement (PDF available at httpmitpress.mit.edu, title Civic Life read more ...
