Lorrie M. Norrington

Bio: Lorrie has overall responsibility for eBay Marketplaces, a global business unit that contributes a significant portion of eBay Inc.'s total revenues. Before becoming president of eBay Marketplaces in July 2008, Lorrie had been responsible for the North America business unit, global technology, and global customer service as head of Marketplaces Operations, a position she assumed in January 2008. Prior to this role, she was president of eBay International, overseeing the strategic and financial planning, marketing, operations, product development and business development for eBay's international businesses, including eBay's network of sites in Europe and Asia Pacific. Lorrie started her career at eBay in June 2005, when she joined the company as president and CEO of Shopping.com, eBay's online comparison shopping business. Prior to Shopping.com, Lorrie spent four years at Intuit Inc., where she first served as Intuit's EVP of small businesses and personal finance, leading the company's QuickBooks and Quicken brands. She then was a member of the office of the CEO, overseeing operations, verticals and all non-US businesses. Before joining Intuit, Lorrie spent 20 years at GE in a variety of global roles in information services, medical systems, industrial systems and financial services.
