My goal is to grow goodlines decor for earth home into a strong and healthy textile upcycling business that is owned by its employees, nourishes its local community, and truly cares for the earth at every level of the organization. While completing my B.A., I worked as an interior painter, training staff, working in customer service, and providing colour and interior design advice for clients. Prior to commencing my Masters of Fine Art (M.F.A.), I worked in private and public art galleries, advising private and corporate clients on art selection and placement, and installed the work. During my M.F.A. and for two years after, I taught undergraduate design fundamentals, printmaking, drawing, incorporating fiber and textile media into all courses. Since completing my M.F.A. I have worked in museums creating public and school programs, and taking part in the design of interactive exhibits. While with the Culture Division in the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage I cared for the Nova Scotia Art Bank, ran the purchase program, and consulted other government departments (i.e. Premier's Office, Lieutenant Governor's Office) on selection and installation of art work for their public spaces.
