I am a Hubspot Certified, Inbound Marketing Strategist for www.thespotonagency.com. Inbound marketing is the latest way to generate customers using a website as a lead generation "hub". This strategy for marketing is foundational, and builds over time. Each element used - a website, blog, email marketing campaign, search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click advertising, landing pages, social media resources (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Etc), and offline marketing efforts - is like a brick stacked one on the other to build a "factory" of sales leads. As long as the factory is well maintained and is kept up to date, it continues to generate customers - hours a day, days a week. On my own time, I am the shopkeeper and storyteller at White Oak Attic. The website has been online since and features a blog where I write about genealogy, an old coal mining town, nostalgic topics and shabby chic dcor (which offers a tasteful way to bring old family treasures out of boxes so they can be shared).
