As an educator, speaker and author, my topics include the multigenerational workplace, communicating across the generations, and the challenges of elder care in an aging society. With four, and sometimes five, generations in the workplace, understanding and acceptance are critical to the success of any organization. In today's economy, multigenertiaonal households are increasing in number and with that come challenges in communicating our needs and desires. Whether at the office, in the home, or any point in between, we come in contact with people not of our own age group - just getting along requires patience, the right attitude and the understanding that "just because I said so," is no longer acceptable. I help to organizations across the U.S. who want to learn how to effectively work with, market to, and thrive in today's multigenerational society. My presentationworkshop topics include - "Bickering-Backbiting-Clashing-Colliding, Just Another Day at the Office" - "This is Not Your Father's Oldsmobile - Marketing to The Generations" - "The Good, The Bad and The Crazy in Today's Multigenerational World" As a year caregiver to my Mother who left this life in January , my heart goes out to those who are now walking in my shoes. My book, "A Caregiver's Journey," as well as my articles and presentations on caregiving are meant to bring humor, hope and a sense of "I can do this," to the working caregiver of today.
