My education and experience includes technical writing, business analysis, project management, software and database design, instructional design for children and adults, marketing, television, travel, science, and more. As youll see in my resume, I have held jobs in a variety of fields, demonstrating my ability to learn whatever I need to know, when I need to know it. I am very good at dealing with large amounts of data, determining what is important to a subject or task, and how to use, gather and share it. My work in my small business shows my analytical, problem solving and project management abilities. I perform business analysis, and design and manage the development of software projects such as a computer-based learning and records management system for a very unique, very high volume, non-profit adult vocational training organization. Way back in , we foresaw the rapid growth in that industry and so pioneered the concept of developing all software solutions entirely in native internet technologies making the client ready to expand and reach distant markets at almost a moments notice. Our software also streamlined work processes allowing them to manage an increase in volume from , students in to , students in in the same building with almost the same staff. I have worked with corporate sponsors on projects in my work at the Houston Museum of Natural Science where I produced an award-winning educational television series with science and social themes called Science Quest. I planned topics researched, scripted and produced episodes and created promotional and educational materials for teachers to incorporate the show into their classrooms. Im particularly proud of the quality show we were able to produce on a very low budget. I also collaborated in obtaining corporate grants for the museums lecture series. Specialties I now wish to pursue a career with an organization that advances the cause global sustainability whether as an analyst, communicator or Educational Television producer. This is how I'd like to do my part in making the world a better place. I volunteer at Wildlife Rescue and Education (wrande.org) in Houston, Texas and with Urban Harvest's school gardens program.
