Laura Mack is an international business consultant and facilitator. She brings to her clients a broad understanding of both the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurial life as well as the corporate and non-profit sectors. She has been executive director of a national association and worked in partnership development with an international association. Laura is entering her fourth year of being a conductor with ViRTUS, primarily co-designing and delivering learning opportunities in a virtual format (often as an avatar) in the corporate sector. Laura is also an Associate with Authentic Leadership Global, Inc., both training Level Facilitators, as well as facilitating Authentic Leadership Conversations in several sectors. She brings a variety of strategic planning, team building and leadership tools into her practice. Laura recently graduated with distinction from Simon Fraser University, earning a Bachelor of General Studies in the Liberal Business Studies Program. Known as a connector, Laura is passionate about sharing her experiences with netweaving, connecting those with similar interests and activities. Laura is the mother of an engaging, occasionally challenging teen with learning differences. Previously Laura served for two years as member of the Board of the Gifted Childrens Association of British Columbia. Laura passionately believes in philanthropy and volunteerism. She is a volunteer facilitator with the North Shore Restorative Justice Society. She also has supported various causes in Vancouver's downtown eastside. She recently served on the advisory board of KYT Foundation, an NGO that is bringing water into a remote community in Nepal and planning a medical centre. Laura lives aboard a ft.
