I have 37 years in the computer field. With 6 years in the US Navy as a data systems technican, 6 years with Sperry-Univac as a CE, 8 years with Tandem Computers as an CE-SE, 18mo at Idleman Telemarketing as a system manager, 3.5 years at SmartPay as a manger and later director. Finally, I have nearly 12years at FDC-FDR. I am an hardware engineer at heart and ace troubleshooter as an analyst in networking, using X.25, SNA, and TCPIP. I have written most of the manuals on the platform that I am working on. I do Level 3 support on Tandem-HP non-stop server platform. I perform operator training as needed. I designed an internal web site using front-page 98 with 100 web pages for the operators to use. My goal is to do consulting for other companies on an as needed bases, as I near retirement.
