I'm a serial entrepreneur who loves creating and executing big ideas. I've been fortunate to be offered instrumental roles in a number of "big ideas"/start ups led by visionary CEO's including John Mackey (Whole Foods Market) and Jeff Taylor (Monster.com) as well as my own start-ups with varying degree of financial success yet high levels of learning. My most recent start up is my own, TravelDragon.com, have a look and send some feedback. I'm passionate about authentic, experiential, sustainable travel. I believe why we travel, how we travel, where we go, what we do while we are there and when we return, all have the ability to effect positive change in the world. Personally I've been leading, designing, selling and operating small group adventure trips for the past 20+ years. Many of the 3000 folks I've traipsed around the globe with have become personal friends. Along the way I became a social media geek and an over-the-top gear and gadget gal. You'll find plenty of posts and tweets from my journeys, reviews of products and places. My target markets are successful, active, connected, engaged and involved Boomers, Women and PrimeTime Travelers (ages 50-70). I intimately understand and very much enjoy these folks and have become a subject matter expert, speaking and consulting with companies interested in learning more about these valuable and interesting markets. I'm more comfortable on the road, trail, in front of an audience, leading a group, or with a new start up than in an office. I love being around and involved with passionate, smart, caring individuals and learning new things. There is never enough time in the day for all the opportunities we are offered or to execute all the ideas that evolve.
