kate gramlich, feminist-teacher-blogger-weirdo-cat-lady extraordinaire, was born on november 3rd in st. louis, mo during the mid-eighties. she currently resides in southern illinois where she is pursuing her MA in speech communication and women’s studies. she enjoys being inside during snow storms, browsing her font collection, and rescuing brass animal figurines from antique stores. when working on research, kate typically gravitates toward a few key subjects: blogging, feminism, pedagogy, menstruation, and depression. she has recently discovered that her love for blogging can be linked to both autoethnographic and performative writing, as well as to (feminist) pedagogical strategies. more research on this is surely to come.
