As a Cornerstone Community Resources, L3C (CCR) principal and trainer, Karen is a speaker and consultant to organizations facilitating effectiveness and sustainability among community-based nonprofits. Her association with Transformational Measurement L3C allows her to assist such nonprofits to achieve evidence based program decision making. She is former director of the Acton Institute's Center for Effective Compassion, developer of the first Web-based survey and reporting guide for effective compassion indicators among America's privately funded charities. She was a policy advisor to Michigan state legislators and a research analyst for Michigan's state director of social services. Primary goals include **expansion of Cornerstone Community Resources L3C, Web-based resources, development and organization support community based nonprofits. ** Complete software, hardware and reporting support protocols for the National Recovery Initiative, an evidence based project to measure impact of faith and relationship elements unique to Gospel Rescue Mission substance abuse recovery.
