While pursuing my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong passion for marketing and advertising which led me to pursue it as my main concentration. I gained a better grasp of various advertising techniques and theories in classes, such as advertising strategy, research, media planning, analytics in ROI advertising, campaigns, entrepreneurship, and law of mass communication. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, I had the opportunity to work on real-life campaigns, such as the Inside the Gator Nation, and Sewanee University The University of the South. For the "Inside the Gator Nation" campaign, I measured results in online advertisement. I used Google Analytics as the main measurable to utilize a sufficient return on investment (ROI). I increased awareness and built the "Gator Nation" brand image by utilizing social media marketing, such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Additionally, for the Sewanee University campaign, another member and I, out of our five-person group took the lead. As a result, our team won best strategy for our overall campaign. I revamped the schools main portal Web site, created and distributed direct mail, online advertisements (banner ads), creative print ads, and promotional email advertisements. We obtained an increase in the school's population by within a six-month timeframe. To gain an even wider perspective into the advertising field, I pursued a Masters Degree in Managerial Sciences that integrates the aspects of international business and communication necessary in todays world. As part of my graduate studies in business, I completed coursework, such as the Art and Science of Negotiations, External and Internal Business Innovations, Business Law, Global Strategic Management, Production and Operations Management, Marketing Management, Managerial Accounting, and Asset Value and Risk Return in Finance. read more ...
