I founded Surf New Media (formerly Maine Web FX) in my late s, and currently control the company from Saco, Maine. The company employs a handful of programmers and developers to bring businesses online professionally using the latest technologies to ensure their sites stay relevant, are easily managed and true to the clients ideal. The name change for the company came about from several factors including the ever-changing environment of web development. Recently web development work has focused more on interactive and social media than the traditional "build a website" type of designing and programming, so we are trying to incorporate the new media aspect of it. From newspapers and media sites to the common brochure website now, there are very few that are made without Twitter andor Facebook integration, so the development of sites has moved away from the design and more toward the companyconsumer interaction. We are both trying to keep ahead of the curve and capitalize on the technology at the same time. Although our style is accommodating and easy going, my firm's strongest asset is its clients. We strive for complete client satisfaction and work hard to meet all goals and time frames, no matter the timezone. My goal is to one day expand the company to a point where my leadership skills can fine tune themselves on the beach somewhere in the Caribbean, while sipping mango Margaritas.
